St. Paul School students and staff were among those area residents remembering the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, with a ceremony on Tuesday. Each year on Sept. 11, the school holds a service, during which time it retires its current flag. The flag is turned over to a local cemetery for proper resting. Pictured reading a prayer is student Isaiah Jacques, and, by the flag pole, student Philip Good and Principal James Lesho. Good, whose father is in the U.S. National Guard and was deployed to Afghanistan in the weeks following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, was selected to assist Lesho in retiring the flag. -- Contributed
