To the editor:
The reporting of the high school sexual assault story has been wretched in all forms of local media thus far. I figure this won't get published or be national news.
The press, which knows the truth, must live with those details that are being withheld. The girl was raped. Like those who watched, the media let it continue. The morals of the United States have slipped another notch because of continued inaction and cover-ups. I hope I find a genie in a bottle because I'd wish schools will someday place an emphasis on education. I would wish the media would report the news and leave protecting and serving to the police.
If all my wishes came true, we would have a stronger and more ethical United States of America. In God we trust.
