Michelle's Miles for Smiles held a benefit in honor of the late Michelle Huffman, former co-owner with her husband, Allen, of Spicy Gringo's. About 200 people met at the town square in Wellsburg on Oct. 21 to walk/run for the 5K walk.
All proceeds went to Austin Powell, a sixth-grade student at Follansbee Middle School.
Jamie and Chris Powell, and the family and friends of Austin would like to thank all who participated in this event and special thanks goes to Rob Hilt, Allen Huffman, Holly Groch and the remainder of the Michelle's Miles for Smiles committee.
Also thanks to those who made donations and all those who walked and who came out to support Michelle's Miles for Smiles and Austin Powell.
