WEIRTON - Officials with the Hancock County Public Service District are requesting that residents in rural areas of the Weirton sewer system, such as those living on Lick Run, Northfork, Wylie Ridge and Turkeyfoot roads and surrounding areas, limit their water usage for the next 48 hours.
Officials made the decision acknowledging possible heavy rain and loss of power due to the effects of the remnants of Hurricane Sandy.
