On behalf of the Boys and Girls Club of Weirton, the board of directors would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who generously donated to make our ninth annual golf scramble held at Mountaineer's Woodview Golf Course Sept. 2 a great success.
A big thank you to Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort for their continued support of our organization and event.
A big thank you to C. Hackett Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for their generous monetary contribution, as well as donating a 2012 Jeep Compass as the prize for a hole-in-one.

A total of 20 teams participated in this year's event. The event raised more than $11,000, and all proceeds will go toward our After School Nutrition Program and other programs ran within the club.
