ISLEMAN, Stanley Lee, age 64, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.
He was born September 25, 1948, in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late John and Vera Baldwin Isleman.
Stanley is Methodist, a member of the Toronto American Legion Post 86 and the Ohio Edison Co. High Stack Club. He loved to fish and was a stamp collector and had served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War Era.
He was retired from the Ohio Edison Co. (A.E.P.) Stratton, OH, Sammis Plant.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jim and Dana Isleman.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Fay Isleman, of the family home whom he married August 18, 1977; sons, Jay Thomas and Rich (Marilyn) Thomas, both of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Tristan, Taylie and Teryn Thomas; sister, Sandra (Kenny) Scott of Dayton, OH; brothers, Daryl Isleman and Raymond (Frankie) Isleman both of Minnesota.
Visitation for Stanley will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 10th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
A celebration service of Stanley's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Welch officiating. Burial will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery where there will be graveside honors by the Toronto American Legion.
