NEW CUMBERLAND - The Alpha Tau Chapter of West Virginia Alpha Delta Kappa held their November meeting at the Swaney Memorial Library.
President Fran Jones called the meeting to order; Chaplain Donna Durkin gave the Thought for the Day; Correspondent Secretary called roll and read communications; Recording Secretary Donna Bohach distributed the previous meeting's minutes; and Treasurer Stacy Slack gave the financial report. Officer and committee reports were given.
Local author Cindy McDonald spoke to the group about self-publishing her novels "Dangerous Deception" and "Deadly.Com." McDonald is a former dance instructor.
