Juvenile arrested in house break-in

STEUBENVILLE - One juvenile was taken into custody and two others young boys are being sought in connection with a break-in of a home on state Route 151, Mingo Junction, on Thursday, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department reported.

A resident reported her home was broken into the 300 block of state Route 151, Mingo Junction, on Thursday. Jewelry was reported taken and an attempt was made to take a TV, a deputy said. A neighbor reported seeing three boys around the house during the day. A deputy went to the home of one of the juveniles, and the 15-year old confessed and turned over jewelry. He was taken to the juvenile detention center.

Two other juveniles, ages 13 and 15, are being sought for questioning. The sheriff's department reported looking for the boys throughout the day and evening on Thursday but their parents didn't know of their whereabouts.

Street paving in Toronto begins today

TORONTO - City residents are advised milling and paving of sections of Banfield and Euclid avenues and Daniels Street will begin today and continue for the next several days. Residents are asked to refrain from street parking during paving if possible.
