Weirton firefighters said it’s too early to say what caused this early morning fire today at 226 Pleasantview Drive. The flames were reported at 6:22 a.m. and took about a half-hour to extinguish. Capt. Bob Hinchee said the single-family residence was heavily damaged. The home was occupied, but one of the occupants was awakened by a noise, and they were able to get out, he said.
