Upper Ohio Valley HOF displays train set, holds drawing
EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - The Lou Holtz/Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame will feature a "Polar Express" train display, donated by Crouse TruValue Hardware in North Lima, Ohio, throughout the holiday season until Jan. 4.
During the time the set is on display, visitors are invited to enter a drawing for a complete O-gauge Lionel Pennsylvania Railroad Keystone Special set, valued at $260, also donated by Crouse. All area children are welcome to leave their letters to Santa in a special train making deliveries to the North Pole.
The museum doesn't charge admission, but accepts donations. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 120 E. Fifth St. It will be closed Christmas and New Year Day.
Santa to visit story hour
FOLLANSBEE - The Follansbee Branch Library will be holding a Christmas story hour, with special guest Santa Claus, for children ages 25 and their caregivers at noon Monday.
The Friends of the Follansbee Library will take pictures of children with Santa. Call (304) 527-0860 to register for the free program.

Old-Timers set to meet
WEIRTON - The Weirton Steel Blast Furnace/Sinter Plant retirees will hold their quarterly Old-Timers buffet at noon Wednesday at the Serbian-American Cultural Center located on Colliers Way.
Dress is casual.
Those who have never attended a buffet must call to make a reservation. Those who have attended in the past will be contacted as usual.

Library to show action film
WELLSBURG - The Brooke County Public Library will be showing the PG-13-rated film, "The Bourne Legacy," at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 20.
