TORONTO - Bell Chapel United Methodist Church in Steubenville was the setting for the Sept. 15 wedding that united Anica Lea Alvis and Robert Tyler Lease in marriage. The 3:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Steve Smith.
Escorted to the altar by her uncle, James Michael Harris, and given in marriage by her mother, Cyndy Miller, the bride chose a white satin A-line strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and embroidered accented bodice.
She carried a bouquet of white roses and fuscia stargazer lilies.

The groom is the son of Patricia and Cliff Scheel and Robert and Cecelia Lease of Toronto.
Marjorie Grafton, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Erin Reed, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Celeste Rawson, Jessica Shafer, Emily Smith, Leigha Zeiber and Evelyn Zimmer.
Josh Benton, cousin of the groom, was the best man, and Brad Lease, brother of the groom, was head groomsman. Daniel Blood, brother-in-law of the groom; Anthony Bradley, cousin of the groom; and Shawn Core, Joe Doyle and Bryan Ray served as groomsmen, as well as Cole and Gabriel Reed, nephews of the bride.
Paige Lease, Denali Blood and Rayne Lease, nieces of the groom, served as flowergirls, and Gunnar Blood, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.
A reception followed at the Holiday Inn of Weirton. The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Edison Local High School and is employed as a retail sales consultant with AT&T in Steubenville.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Toronto High School and a 2008 graduate of Bethany College with a bachelor's degree in communication. He is a retail sales consultant with AT&T in Weirton.
The couple live in Toronto.
