Fun Seekers hold meeting

The Fun Seekers held its monthly meeting at the YWCA on Dec. 5.

The meeting was opened with a reading of "The Gift," by Joanne Bugin.

Also, "The Christmas Girl" was read by President David Krause.

After dinner, the Crisogis brothers, Sean and Brian, sang several songs.

The winners of the door prizes were Mary Ann Cox, Bill Whiteman, Ames DeFallo, Dom Cilli, Larry Tomassilli, Bob Koper, Frank Rotella, JoAnn Mulrooney, Jeannie Manfresca, Margaret Harbert, Virginia McNenamin, Mav Kearney, John Tuchi, Joan Pohlman, Clyde Morelli, Boyd Barker, Jeanetta Gibson, Phil Destefano, James Cerra and Tony LaRosa.

They each received a homemade nut roll. The door prizes were furnished by Betty Owens and Christine DeFallo.

The dinner prize was received by Joanne Bugin and the 50/50 was won by Mary Orecchio.

The following trips are scheduled:

Jan. 23 to Wheeling Island Casino, $25 per person

Feb. 27 to Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort, $25 per person.

A total of $73.25 and several boxes of nonperishable items were donated to the Weirton Salvation Army.

The next meeting will be Feb. 6 at the YWCA. There is no meeting scheduled in January.
