The Wintersville Good Neighbors would like to thank Wintersville Elementary School, and especially the fifth-graders under the supervision of Keith Swearingen, Laurie LaRue and Kacey Moore for helping to make our 2012 Christmas project a success. They contributed more than 4,000 canned goods and bags of toys.
About 20 fifth-graders and seven adults delivered the canned goods, sorted them and then stayed to help wrap gifts. Director Jerry Boyd and I say the pupils at Wintersville Elementary are truly a blessing to our organization. We sincerely thank them and wish them a blessed 2013.
