WHEELING - Crittenton Services Inc. will its 10th annual Paint the Town Pink gala at 7 p.m. March 16 at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
As the agency's largest fundraiser of the year, the gala has become an important part of continuing Crittenton's mission of embracing young women, children and families with nurturing services to help them achieve self-sufficiency.
"Over the past decade, this event has grown, and every year it gets better," said Kathy Szafran, Crittenton president and chief executive officer. "We are so proud of what we do as an agency and we love to share that mission with hundreds of those in the community in such a beautiful setting."
Those who purchase event tickets will have the opportunity to also buy pre-party tickets for "The Pinks of the Past" which will be held in the Atrium section of the Wheeling Artisan Center beginning at 6 p.m.
Chef Rocco Basil will prepare the night's dinner, and Redline will provide live musical entertainment. The event will also include a silent auction with prizes including weekend getaways, wine-tastings and spa packages.
Drawing tickets are being sold at $10 each. The winner will receive a travel voucher valued at $2,500, courtesy of Uniglobe Travel.
