Dino Piergallini

February 26, 2013
Weirton Daily Times

PIERGALLINI, Dino Ralph, 52, after three years of battling brain tumors has gone peacefully from his home in Cadiz, Ohio on Monday, February 25, 2013.

Dino was born in Steubenville and raised in Smithfield where he lived with his parents, Raymond and Lucille Piergallini on their farm.

He graduated from Buckeye North High School and went on to begin his own business.

Growing up on a farm Dino's passion had grown for tractors and farm equipment. He began by buying plows and fixing them; then selling them for a very small profit. After many years of hard times, long hours, sweat and tears Dino grew what started out as a few plows to over 500 construction and farm equipment pieces located on his lot 3 miles outside of Cadiz.

Through Dino's journey he married Diana Morrow Piergallini, who has stood along side him for 29 years. She fought for him when he had no fight left in him. Through the business and through life she stood not in front nor behind, but along side him on everything he did and we will always honor everything he stood for. Dino had will power that is unexplained; he battled to make his business a success and battled through all of the tests, treatments and surgeries. From the start with his first plow and first tear the will and fight was not for himself it was for his three children Mario, age 22, Giovanni age 19 and Madeena, age 15. Every breath Dino took was for his family, to make sure they were taken care of even before he became sick. Dino Ralph Piergallini, our father, showed that no matter the challenge, no matter the problem, there is always a solution. "Never say I can't, to say, I can, is just as easy to say" was one of his favorite sayings.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Diana Morrow Piergallini; sons, Mario and Giovanni and daughter, Madeena of the home; his father, Raymond Piergallini of Smithfield, brothers, Larry (Carolyn) of Smithfield, Lewis "Doby" (Lori) of Bloomingdale, Tim (Lynda) of Smithfield and Todd (Tina) of Rayland; mother-in-law, Delores Morrow of Scio, sisters-in-law, Becky (Rick) Hugh of Scio and Sheila (Dennis) Brown of Lisbon, nineteen nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Piergallini Farm, 413 North Main St., Cadiz on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at noon. Friends may call Thursday, Feb 28th from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, March 1 from 12-4 and 6-9 p.m. also at the farm.

Monetary donations in Dino's memory may be made to Family Medicine Center at Wheeling Medical Park, Suite 406, Wheeling, WV 26003 in care of Dr. James L. Commerci.

Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with Dino's arrangements.
