TORONTO - Amanda Hayes and Brent Kantaras were united in marriage on Oct. 20 at St. John Greek Orthodox Church in Boardman. The Rev. Thomas Constantine officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Ken and Sharon Hayes of Toronto. The groom is the son of Steven and Jean Kantaras of Poland, Ohio.
She was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an all-over beaded lace gown with an empire waist and a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers, calla lillies, orange roses and fall-colored chrysanthemums.

Heather Hayes, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor. The maid of honor was Amanda Mosti, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Everson and Casey Kantaras, sisters of the groom.
Erik Moss was the best man. Groomsmen were Jason Fazzone; David Everson, brother-in-law of the groom; and Scooter Hayes, brother of the bride.
Raegan Hayes, niece of the bride, was the flowergirl. Waylon Hayes, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Center in Boardman. The couple honeymooned at Sandals Resort Whitehouse in Jamaica.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in education in counseling from Kent State University. She is employed at Turning Point Counseling Services in Youngstown as a behavioral health counselor.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Youngstown State University and a master's degree in counseling from KSU. He is employed at Meridian Community Care in Youngstown as a substance abuse counselor.
The couple live in Boardman.
