Wanda M. Zeszutek

ZESZUTEK, Wanda M. 74, of Weirton, WV, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Weirton Geriatric Center, while in the loving arms of her husband.

Born on May 6, 1938, in Weirton, WV, Wanda was a daughter of the late Anthony and Valeria (Przybysz) Rzepka.

Wanda was a dedicated wife, mother and home maker.

She formerly was employed as a telephone operator with the C & P Telephone Company, and a bookkeeper with Kitty Mc Farland and later for Tom Anas.

Wanda was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, and the Christian Mothers. She volunteered her time with the Weirton Medical Auxiliary, Sacred Heart of Mary Grade School, Weirton Madonna Boosters, Cub Scouts and Camp Fire Girls. In her free time she enjoyed traveling especially on cruises and family vacations to Myrtle Beach. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, cross stitching, reading and baking.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Stanley F. Zeszutek, Sr. of Weirton; her three sons, Stanley F. (Luanne) Zeszutek, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, John (Donna) Zeszutek of Weirton, WV, and Joseph (Michele) Zeszutek of Pittsburgh, PA; her two daughters, Mary (Ron) Wehling of Pittsburgh, PA and Teresa Zeszutek of Weirton, WV; her two sisters, Antoinette (Ed) Kusnierz of New Castle, PA and Patricia (Charlie) Haas of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Dr. Beth Anne Roberts, Emily, Ben, Grant and Garrett Zeszutek and Lara Wehling; and a great granddaughter, Lilliana Roberts.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where a prayer service will be held at that evening at 7 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church 200 Preston Avenue Weirton. Rev. Tony Thurston will preside.

Entombment will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.

Wanda's family would like to thank the Serra family, nurses, aides, and housekeepers of the Weirton Geriatric Center new third floor for their phenomenal care and endless love they shared for Wanda. Words could never describe their sincere appreciation.
