WINTERSVILLE - Students and teachers are gearing up for the Jefferson County Christian School's production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," the first musical production at the school's new location on Fernwood Road.

The musical, to be presented at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the school, is being directed by Susan Bullard, with choreography by Cheryl Pompeo. There also is a 2 p.m. matinee planned Saturday. Tickets cost $8 per person, and there is limited seating.

The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to life in this musical parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged.
