Arrested: Howard Starkey, 29, 329 N. Sixth St., two counts of assault, Tuesday.

Arrested: Kimballyn M. Smith, 319 Woodlawn, Steubenville, warrant out of Columbiana County for forgery, Tuesday.

Arrested: Margaret Kelly, 44, Apartment 2, 438 S. Fourth St., no operator's license and driving under suspension, Tuesday.

Arrested: Laqwala Kelly-Grant, 21, Apartment 2, 438 S. Fourth St., bench warrant for failure to appear, city police also found drug paraphernalia in her possession, Tuesday.

Cited: Emily Beckelheimer, 257 Clifton Ave., Mingo Junction, driving under suspension; Frank Shriver, 825 Rosswell St., two misdemeanor citations for failure to license dogs; John Lewis, 5914 County Road 17, Rayland, loud exhaust; Brian W. Theft: Copper pipe taken from home in 200 block of South Eighth Street, Tuesday.

Theft: Clothes taken from apartment in South Fourth Street, Tuesday.

Burglary: Jewelry, cash and a television taken from residence in 900 block of North Fifth Street, Tuesday.

Theft: Purse taken from porch in 600 block of Grandview, Tuesday.

Arrested: Michaelle Ann Clifton, 29, Jacksonville, Fla., fugitive from justice warrant out of Stark County, Tuesday.

Mingo Junction

Arrested: Brandy Renforth Henderson, 612 Logan Ave., Mingo Junction, failure to appear, Tuesday.

Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: John P. Kuzma, 32, 115 Randall Ave., Follansbee, domestic battery, Tuesday.

Theft: Two trucks owned by a company that sets poles for gas companies were broken into while they were parked near Mazzella Welding on state Route 67. Various tools, including gas-powered and electric drills, were taken between 3:30 p.m. Friday and Sunday morning.
