Many helped Charity Hospice

Weirton Daily Times

To the editor:

The fantastic turnout at Charity Hospice's annual spring fundraiser dinner held April 21 at Blessed Sacrament's Sargus Hall was enjoyed by nearly 800 people. The opportunity to help the Pawelczyk family, certainly, and without a doubt, enhanced the overflow crowd. Divertimento & Paisano, as usual, provided a day of fun-filled music. The event, before expenses, raised more than $13,000, of which 50 percent was donated to the David Pawelczyk medical fund. A special thanks to the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church staff and members. Without your assistance, this event would not have been so successful. Several other individuals and groups were also responsible for the success of the fundraiser. Your good-heartedness will never be forgotten by Charity Hospice and especially, Little David and his family.
