She met her high school sweetheart, Frank Arthur Latkiewicz Jr. at Weir High School. After graduation they were married and remained in Weirton, where Frank worked for Weirton Steel and Carm (as she is known by her friends and family) spent her earlier years as a loving home maker and later worked for New City Auto Sales and, most recently, at Raggi Home Improvement.

Carm cherished spending time with her dear friends playing cards. She was a member of several card clubs, one of which she belonged to for over 50 years.

Carm is predeceased by her husband, Frank, her parents, two brothers-in- law and a niece.

In addition to her two sisters, left to cherish her memory is her son, Frank, his wife, Kim and their son Evan (8) as well as her daughter, Terri Feely, her husband, Tim and their children Hannah (15) Caroline (13) and Andrew (10).

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the GrecoHertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Rev Fr. Manuel Gelido will preside.

Interment will follow at Saint Paul's Cemetery Weirton.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Evercare Hospice, 12018 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 400, Reston, VA 20191. www.evercarehospice.com, 571-262-5200

Carm's final request is that, in the words of Laura Ingalls Wilder, you remember her with smiles and laughter, for that is how she will remember you all. If you can only remember her with tears, then don't remember her at all.
