Road work announced

The West Virginia Division of Highways has minor road work to be performed this week, pending suitable weather.

Crews in Hancock County will patch Laurel, Meadow and Dominic drives; Bristol and Crumitt lanes, Willow and Oak streets; Marks Run; Stewart Run and Smith roads; Marilyn and Russell lanes; Glen Elm and Fox Run roads; Mount Royal Boulevard; Clifford Street; and Wylie Ridge Road.

They also will ditch along Race Track Road and mow along several roads.

Crews in Brooke County will patch May, Woodcrest and Lee roads and mow along several roads.

SRG to meet today

STEUBENVILLE - The Steubenville Revitalization Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Froehlich's Classic Corner Restaurant.

The meeting is open to the public.

PERI to meet Wednesday

WINTERSVILLE -Jefferson County Chapter 5, Public Employee Retirees, will meet at noon Wednesday at Zalenski's.

The program will be presented by the members and will feature "Memories of Dad." Yvonne Habowski will give a report on Tuesday's district meeting. All public employee retirees and spouses are welcome.
