WIC?providing market vouchers

WEIRTON - The Hancock County Women, Infants and Children Program will distribute Farmer' Market vouchers to program participants beginning Monday at the offices located at 2619 Pennsylvania Ave. as long as the vouchers are available.

The vouchers are to be used to purchase fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and fresh herbs; they don't affect participants' current benefits.

The quantity is limited and the vouchers will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants need to show a valid WIC identification to receive vouchers.
