WEIRTON - President Cookie Veltri welcomed members of Three Score Senior Club to the June meeting.
Tony LaRosa gave invocation, and, in honor of West Virginia's 150th anniversary, recalled events of June 20, 1863. Members recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang "God Bless America." Kathryn Hardsouk and Josie Elliott provided statehood-themed decorations.
New members Joe and Deb Jarvis were welcomed by Membership Chair Nancy Smurda. Vivian Weigel introduced Kathy McIntyre, guest of Lester Stuckmeyer. Sunshine Chair Winnie Kemp sent get well cards to Paul Virtue, Bob Hinchee, Lena Drakos and Edna Harrison. Joe Pulice, Betty Virtue, Ray Fox, Regina Truax, Edna Harrison, Mary Ann Elliott, Ed Roach, Helen Beaumont and Myrtle Flower celebrated June birthdays. Jim and Marlene Hare, Chuck and Josie Elliott and Ray and Ruth Fox celebrated anniversaries. Phil and Irene Troia sent the club a thank-you card. The following trips are available:

Jim Hare gave prizes to Ed Roach, Frank Fazio, Lauretta Reynolds, Dolores Wolfe and Irene Roach. Chuck Elliott built and donated to the club West Virginia bird houses, which were won by Enola Romanelli, Harold Elliott, Bill Wetzel and Mildred Vuckovich. Sonny Marino and Dorothy Padelko won Undo's dinner certificates. Nick Smarella, Frank Fazio, Victor Greco, Reg Dietz and Tony LaRosa received Fathers' Day gift cards. Jack Cummings and Sonny Marino conducted the 50/25/25 drawing, which was won by Jeanette Meriwether and Bob Hinchee. Cookie Veltri wished all a happy Fourth of July. Tony LaRosa gave benediction and meeting adjourned.
