WEIRTON - President Cookie Veltri called the July Three Score Seniors meeting to order, and Tony LaRosa gave invocation followed by members reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and singing "God Bless America."
Rosemary Gaynor introduced evening entertainer, Chuck Lucas, who played guitar and sang. We Three will be the August entertainment.
Secretary Pat Delekta gave the minutes of the June meeting. Membership Chair Nancy Smurda introduced new member Kathy McCarrick. Reservation Chair Vivian Weigel said 101 members and three guests were in attendance, and Rita Mitchell, Roberta Barnett and Kathy Jones were introduced as guest.
Sunshine Chair Winnie Kemp, sent get-well cards to Jean Gryskevich, Patty Holt, Joe Pulice and MaryLou McKinley. Regina Truax and Helen Rohal were sent sympathy cards. Geno Cercone, Tony LaRosa and Mary Margaret Klepadlo celebrated birthdays, and Joe and Cookie Veltri and John and Eleanor Peterson celebrated anniversaries.
In the absence of Regina Truax, Cookie Veltri announced upcoming trips. They include:
Aug. 4, Rivers Casino;
Sept. 11-13, Seneca Niagara Falls Casino; and
Sept. 30, Polynesian Fire Seven Spring.

Hospitality Chair Jim Hare gave prizes to Sonny Marino, Frank Fazio, Jeanette Wetzel, Jeanette Meriwether and John Peterson. Geno Cercone and Claire French won Undo's dinners. Sonny Marino and Marian Lammers won the 50/25/25 drawing.
Carrying out the meeting's luau theme pineapples were given to Joe Veltri, Nancy Fridley, Virginia Kucan, Marilyn Hinchee, Jack Cummings and Barbara Andrews.
Tony LaRosa gave benediction. Cookie Veltri adjourned the meeting.
The next meeting will be held Aug. 22.
