Assault: A man in the 700 block of Kendall Avenue told police someone threw a brick at home, striking him in the upper hip.

Arrested: Jaytez Johnson, 18, 1222 1/2 Oak Grove, felonious assault and aggravated rioting, Tuesday.
Arrested: Daniel Carter, 29, Barberton, possession of drug abuse instruments, hypodermic needles and broken spoons with a brown residue, today. Carter also faces warrants for failure to appear in Summit County for felony possession of heroin and possession of drug abuse instruments.
Theft: A John Deere gator valued at about $7,000 was stolen from a worksite on county Road 22A across from Belevedere, Tuesday.
Entered: A resident of Commercial Avenue, Mingo Junction, told deputies an unknown male entered his house Tuesday but left when he was confronted.
Theft: Maplewood Drive residents told police Tuesday someone took a safe containing documents and about $1,500 in jewelry from their home.

Arrested: Eric D. Tressler, 33, 199 Ninth St., Wellsburg, domestic battery, Monday.
Vehicle vandalism: The passenger side window of a vehicle was broken out while it was parked at a residence on Oriole Drive in McKinleyville between 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. Nothing appeared to be missing.
