MARSH, Theresa A., 92, of Bloomingdale, died Monday, August 19, 2013 at Sienna Woods.
She was born June 26, 1921, in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Louis and Rose Rizzo Simera.
Theresa is also preceded in death by her husband, John Marsh, Jr.; her son, John Marsh; one brother, Frank "Cheech" Simera, and; four sisters, Virginia Whestsella, Frances Alinich, Helen Palodino and Mary Davis.
Theresa was retired from Jefferson County Mental Health where she was head of the housekeeping department and was a member of the Labelle View Church of Christ.
Surviving are one son, Richard (Mary) Marsh of Wintersville; one daughter, Patty (Vick) Coldebella of Bloomingdale; three brothers, John (Ann) Simera of AL., Sam (Margie) Simera of Tx and Joseph (Rosemary) Simera of CA.; and three sisters, Louise Rocini of Follansbee, Josephine Froats of GA, and Dorothy Mecca of CA; five grandchildren, Jason Marsh, Kelly Crosby, Brett Thompson, Lainey Marsh, and Michael Marsh; five great-grandchildren, Celia, Jacob, Mia, Kellar, and Riley.
Theresa was known for her cooking of homemade dinners and pies and she devoted her whole life to raising her children and was a fun and loving grandmother.
Calling hours are Monday 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville, where services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
