WEIRTON - The Weirton Woman's Club, the General Federation of Women's Clubs of West Virginia member organization, will present the premier performance of Mystery Theatre Unlimited musical comedy murder mystery "The Calamityville Horror" at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Serbian American Cultural Center located on Colliers Way.
New Jerseyite Snookums Tortellini (Shannan Noe) inherits an estate, but must stay at the haunted estate for a night to claim it. She finds the house inhabited by housekeeper Mrs. Cadaver (Bert Furioli), groundskeeper Ratso (Ryan Sears) and all-too-lively poltergeist Beiberjuice (Butch Maxwell). Snookums hires ghost-buster Madame Mesmer (Michael Moran) to exorcise the house.
"The Calamityville Horror" was written by Furioli, Sears and Maxwell. It is appropriate for all ages.
The performance will take place amidst the audience and includes interaction as the audience attempts to solve the murder along with the cast. Audience members may gather clues, speak to the cast and question the suspects. Some audience members will be chosen to play small parts.
Tickets are $30. No tickets will be sold at the door.
