Recycling award

Oak Glen High School was recently recognized for its success with the national Recycle-Bowl, which the school won the past two years, during the annual West Virginia Litter and Solid Waste Conference at Canaan Valley Resort. Milli Hines, high school recycling leader, received a plaque on the school’s behalf from Travis Cooper, Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan officer. The high school recycling program is sponsored by Keep New Cumberland Beautiful, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate, and facilitated by the Hancock County Solid Waste Authority. -- Contributed
