A "Grand Night for Holiday Fashion" held Nov. 16 at the Center of Music and Art in Wintersville boasted some great models wearing some great Macy's fashion.
The third-annual event to benefit the Grand Theater Restoration Project included nearly 30 models; music provided by Three's Company, a local trio comprised of Kelly Camarote, vocals; Linda Hilty, bass; and Kevin Dennis, on guitar; refreshments; the makeup magic of Elizabeth Arden representatives; mystery boxes; and a silent auction boasting a variety of items, including some fabulous olden day but mint condition furs.
The fashion show - moderated by Francesca Carinci, event coordinator, and Macy's Carrie Porter - ended with two presentations - a $1,000 check from the Upper Ohio Valley Opera Guild, presented by its president, Mary Jo Rinaldi, and a $1,000 check from Franciscan University by Anita Jackson, its director of community relations.
The daughters of John and Dina Balzano who were models were, front, Caterina; middle row, from left, Chiara, twins Maria and Marcella, and back, Angelina, Talia and Julia.
