WHEELING - First Presbyterian Church in Wheeling was the setting for the July 6, 2013, wedding that united Lauren Costello and 2nd Lt. Trevor Lutz in marriage. The 2 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by Pastor Kevin Rowland.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her parents, Eugene and Beverly Costello of Rayland, the bride chose a diamond white cap sleeve gown with floral embroidery, lace, sequence and pearls. She carried her "something borrowed" mother's satin floral bouquet decorated with broaches wrapped in lace and pearls.
The groom is the son of Albert and Shelly Lutz and Diana Lutz and Joseph Stewart of Martins Ferry.

Kalen Costello of Rayland served as her sister's maid of honor, and Jessica Banyas was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Katie Brumett, Therese Maloney, Jasmyne Huebner, Christine Shahbodaghi, Kirsten Teramana and Courtney Bradford.
Tim Lutz of Martins Ferry was the best man. Ushers were Robert Banyas, Roger Gill, Kyle Kepreos, Justin Tracey, David Shahbodaghi, Troy Gessner and Caleb Thiel.
Layla and Jolee Lombardo of Steubenville, cousins of the bride, were the flower girls.
Erik and Albert Bailey of Brilliant, nephews of the groom, were the ring bearers.
After a reception at the White Palace in Wheeling Park, the newlyweds took a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor's of science degree in special education and is employed by Alliance City Schools.
The groom is a graduate of Muskingum University with a bachelor's of science degree in chemistry and molecular biology and is employed by the U.S. Army. He is an M.D. candidate at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
They reside in Rootstown.
