PUTICH, William Milan, 78, of Weirton, WV, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at home.

He was born July 30, 1935, in Weirton, WV, son of the late Emil and Christine Mayo Putich.

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Radak and Louise Wright.

He was a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Weirton Lodge No.171 A.F.&A.M., Osiris Shriners, 32 degree Scottish Rite, lifetime member and past commander of American Legion Post No. 10, member of 40/8, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a foreman in the strip steel of Weirton Steel Corp.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sue Ann Hoover Putich; daughters, Jennifer Krupa (Michael) of Brunswick, OH, Jann Donohue (Patrick) of Cranberry Township, PA; granddaughters, Colleen and Cassidy Krupa, Amanda and Lindsay Donohue; cousin/caregiver Linda Miller of Weirton, WV.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, 4-7 p.m. at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held at 7 p.m. The Very Reverend Rade Merick will preside.

Burial will be Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Beechwood Cemetery, Alma, WV with military honors provided.
