HILDRETH, James "Richard" Stanley, 81, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Jan. 8, 2014, in Wintersville, OH.
He was born Nov. 24, 1932, in Bethany, WV, to the late Stanley and Ethel Thompson Hildreth.
He was a Christian by faith and was an army veteran during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Joan Ulmen Hildreth; five brothers, Allan, Lawrence, Donald, Wilbur "Red," and Francis Hildreth; two sisters, Geraldine and Delores.
He is survived by his three sons, Richard Hildreth and his wife, Stephanie of North Carolina, Donnie Hildreth and Joey Hildreth both of Follansbee, WV; four daughters, Marlene Timms, Nancy Beattie and her husband Bill of Wintersville, OH, Sandy Flood of Florida, and Allina Green and her husband Charlie of Columbus, OH; 15 grand children; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg, WV.
Service will be Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, WV.
In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richard Hildreth/Reasner Funeral Home memorial fund.
