MOLINARO, Frank L., 77, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014, at Sienna Woods Nursing Home in Wintersville, OH, surrounded by his family.
He was born April 12, 1936, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Nick and Rose (Paulette) Molinaro.
Frank was a retired test lab supervisor for the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Steubenville and coached Little League baseball for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Davis) Molinaro, on December 19, 2010; a brother, Joseph Molinaro; a sister, Mary Alice Molinaro; and a grandson, Corey Molinaro.
Surviving are three sons: Nicholas (Connie) Molinaro of Tiltonsville, OH, Frank (Bridget) Molinaro II of Glendale, AZ, and John Molinaro of Wooster, OH; a daughter, Pamela (Stephen) Cox of Wintersville, OH; two sisters, Patricia Molinaro and Barbara (Robert) Work, both of Wintersville, OH; grandchildren: Wendee and George Zadanski, Nicholas and Gabe Molinaro, Megan Ellis, Sarah and Kathryn Molinaro, Monica and Brittany Lee, Colton Molinaro and Molly Smith; and four great-grandchildren: Lucy and Georgie Zadanski, Aubree Molinaro and Giana Ellis.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Greco officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo.
