Paul Lish Jr.

LISH, Paul, Jr., 64, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.

He was born on June 11, 1949, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Paul and Ramona (White) Lish, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Kenneth Haddon.

Paul graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1969. He retired from Murphy Construction. He enjoyed working in construction and operating heavy equipment.

He was a member of the Independence United Methodist Church. He was very active in Brooke Hills Park and was currently serving on the Park Board and the fair committee. He was a member of the Brooke Pioneer Trail and the TOP of West Virginia board of directors and a member of the C.V.B. representing Brooke Hills Park.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Paul is survived by the love of his life his wife, Patricia (Haddon) Lish together they had four beautiful children, Paul (Alicia) Lish, Wheeling, WV, Brian Lish, Wellsburg, WV, Jennifer Lish, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Jessica (Jonathan) Gagich, Wellsburg, WV; two grandchildren, Parker and Ella Gagich; three sisters, Helen (Walter) Huff, Sally (John) Miller, and Florence (Bill) Long all of Wellsburg, WV; his mother-in-law, Norma Haddon, Independence, PA; a brother-in-law, Jerry (Gwen) Haddon, Wellsburg, WV; three sisters-in-law, Linda Haddon, Weirton, WV, Darla (Darryl) Burns and Tracy (Aaron) Macom both of Wellsburg, WV; several nieces and nephews; and his furry companion, Nico Blue "Good Girl."

Visitation for Paul will be held on Friday, Jan. 17th from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV where the celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, Jan. 18th at 11 a.m.. with Pastor Lori Jones and Pastor George White his cousin officiating.

Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery Wellsburg, WV.
