To the Editor,
This past Wednesday morning, the comute to work could have been rather tricky.
I left about 7:45 a.m., and was happy that the City of Weirton had done so well treating the roads and clearing the ice and snow. The only problem I ran into was where the businesses who have their lots cleaned and push the snow and ice into the road.
This is not fair to the city workers that sometimes spend all night cleaning and salting the roads and it makes it dangerous for drivers. There were several businesses along Pennsylvania Avenue that did this.
I think it is up to them to plow the snow somewhere to the back of their lots and not on the streets.
