WBA to hold meeting

Big Red boosters to meet

STEUBEBNVILLE - The Big Red Booster Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the high school conference room. All are welcome. Memberships are available.

FUS men drop contest

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Franciscan University of Steubenville men's basketball team dropped an 86-71 loss at Medaille College Saturday.

"We had great looks today," head coach John Lamanna said. "The ball just went in and out. Sometimes there's a lid on the basket."

Barons sophomore Daniel Kleinschnitz and junior Justin Horstman shared the game high score with Jammal Coleman of Medaille with 17 points.

Joseph Rine added a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds and sophomore guard Timmy Schenk nine points and eight rebounds for FUS.

The Barons welcome Mt. Aloysius College at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

FUS women lose

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Franciscan University of Steubenville women's basketball lost at Medaille College, 83-45, Saturday.

Junior Lacey Huck led FUS with 12 points. Freshman Katie Rhodes and sophomore Dani Link each contributed six. Freshman Iliana Gonzales had nine rebounds and Huck six.

The Lady Barons host Mt. Aloysius College at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
