NEW CUMBERLAND - New Cumberland Lions President Betsy Wells called the recent meeting to order, and Lion Russ Flanigan gave the opening prayer, followed by Lion Tom Tate leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Oak Glen High School volleyball team gave the program. The team recently won their third consecutive state championship.
The minutes were approved, and the treasurer's report filed for audit.

Lion Bob Manypenny asked that no loose cardboard be placed in the paper shed.
Lion John Edwards will present a flag program at 1 p.m. March 7 at New Manchester Elementary School.
Lion Anna Raines distributed dictionaries to New Manchester Elementary third-graders Friday.
Past President Richard Blackwell is assembling a Nomination Committee.
Raines, Lion Joyce Young and Lion Jen Meeker are accepting program suggestions.
The district conference will be held March 14-15 in Parkersburg. Tickets for the quilt drawing are still available.
Members were asked to turn in their rating surveys by the Feb. 28 meeting.
Wells presented Blackwell with a chevron for increasing membership during the 2012-2013 years.
Blackwell made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Lion Brian Webster.
The next meeting will be held Feb. 28 in the City Building.
