NEW PHILADELPHIA - The Toronto boys basketball team saw its season come to an end on Friday with a 77-48 loss to Frontier in the Division IV sectional tournament at New Philadelphia High School.
"We just didn't make enough shots," said Red Knights coach John Leary. "Just like all year, they played hard to their credit. The didn't quit. We didn't cut into the lead in the second half, but our kids never quit.
"I was very pleased with their effort. We have skills to get better at and work on over the summer and we'll be a much better team next year."
Blaze Glenn paced Toronto with 21 points. Nate Stewart added nine. The Red Knights finished 8-15.
