From the Pulpit: Finding God in the moments

I read a story the other day that told of a man in an airport. He saw a mom with her three little daughters. They were wearing pretty dresses and talking excitedly amongst each other. He overheard their conversation and learned that the daughters were there to see daddy come home from work on a jet plane. The man watched the excitement in the little girls' eyes as they anticipated both seeing and greeting their daddy. What seemed like only seconds later, the jet plane pulled into the terminal. There were over a hundred people coming off of that plane but it was unmistakable who daddy was. All eyes from those little girls were glued on one man. Their daddy spotted their mother and yelled, "You forgot my top coat," as he walked past his three little daughters.
