PROKOPAKIS, Manuel 78, of Annapolis, OH, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, at his home.
He was born June 19, 1935, in Beech Bottom, WV, a son of the late Nicholas and Androneki (Kefalos) Prokopakis.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Marie Baker and one grandchild, Jamie.
Manuel was a member at Richmond United Methodist Church and attended Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. He volunteered at Prime Time and at East Springfield Fire Department for over 40 years.
He is survived by his sons, John (Kelly) Prokopakis and Jeff (Marsha) Prokopakis; brothers, George (Joann) Prokopakis and Michael (Eleanor) Prokopakis, both of California; grandchildren, Wendy (Doug) Ketchum, Dean (Joanie) Baker, John, Heather, Tyler (Angela), Sara, Kristen, and Kayla Prokopakis; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Nicholas Halkias and Pastor Carol Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Leas Cemetery.
