Survivors of Abuse group set
to meet March 27 in Weirton
WEIRTON?- The Survivors of Abuse group will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. March 27 at the Brooke-Hancock County Family Resources Network located at 371 New York Boulevard.
It is open to survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape and assault. The group offers support, comfort and a confidential, safe place to share experiences and feelings.
It meets the fourth Thursday of every month. The group is sponsored by the Hancock-Brooke-Ohio County Victim Assistance Program.

Pie sale to benefit Special Olympics
WELLSBURG - Brooke County Special Olympics will hold a pie sale through April 1.
A variety of pies produced by The Pie Shoppe as well as cherry tarts, pumpkin rolls, nut logs and plain or raisin Easter bread will be sold, with orders delivered on April 13, in time for Easter.

Table of Hope offers free dinners
WEIRTON - The Table of Hope holds free dinners for all from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the First United Methodist Church located at 3301 West St.
There are no income requirements. All are welcome.
WEIRTON - St. Thomas Episcopal Church, at Three Springs Drive, will hold its Lenten fish dinner sale from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each Friday through Lent, through April 18.
The cost is $8, which includes coffee or tea. Desserts are 50 cents each and pop or bottled water are $1 each.

WEIRTON - The Greater Weirton Area Senior Center will hold a Bingo Cash Bash at 1 p.m. April 6 at the senior center.
