Oak Glen High School senior Christopher Burnham, flanked by his parents Jennifer and Michael Burnham, will continue his academic and athletic careers at the University of Charleston. He will pursue a degree in education with a specialization in special education while competing as a member of the Eagle’s track team. As a hurdler in high school, Burnham has improved each year, prompting Oak Glen boys head coach Rance Everly to comment, “Chris is a hard-working student- athlete and a great leader on the track team. He continuously wants to get better at everything he does to reach goals the that he has set for himself.” Also on hand for the signing were, back, from left, Oak Glen Athletic Director Phil Rujak, Everly and assistant coach Rich Everly.
