April 12, 2014
Weirton Daily Times

Steubenville Big Red senior Justin Corsi, flanked by his parents Joe and Laura, will continue his academic and athletic careers at Bethany College, where he will major in sports management and be a member of the baseball team. Corsi is a four-year player and three-year letterman for Big Red. He has pitched 126.1 innings and owns a 12-6 record. He has struck out 102 and owns a 3.39 ERA. "Justin has been a workhorse on the mound during his three years of varsity baseball," said veteran Big Red baseball coach Fred Heatherington. "He has always been ready to pitch in the big games and has been consistently good throughout his career. (Bethany)?Coach (Rick)?Carver is giving him the opportunity to conttinue his athletic career and we know he will represent Bethany as well as he has Big?Red. We wish him well as he finishes his high school career and, as he moved on to the college ranks, both on the field and in the classroom." Also on hand for the signing were Joe's wife Shannon and Heatherington.
