YANCZURA, Frank E., 80, passed after a long fought battle with several illnesses on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 8:10 a.m. at The Ohio State University Hospital in the Zusman Hospice Center.
He was married on June 9, 1956, to Betty Cesario Yanczura.
He was preceded in death by his son, Harry Yanczura; parents, John and Kathryn (Bandyk) Yanczura; by his brothers, Joe, John, Ed and Louie Yanczura; and two sisters, Mary Tomasi and Josephine Ragets.
Frank has six children; Stan Yanczura (Pam) of Marysville, OH, Fran of Piney Fork, OH, Toni Fillippi (Joe) of Dillonvale, OH; daughter-in-law, Denise Yanczura of Johnstown, OH, Lori Binkiewicz (Bill) of Dillonvale, OH and Dan Yanczura of Johnstown, OH; nine grandchildren, Anita Yanczura Chillog, Amy Walkenspa, Sarah Fillippi Baldwin, Linda Fillippi McWilliams, Gina Fillippi, Meagan Yanczura, Hunter Binkiewicz, Emily Yanczura and Hayden Binkiewicz; seven great-grandchildren, Steven, Ella and Alena Chillog, Jordan and Luke Baldwin, and Ben and Sam Walkenspa.
Frank was a devoted husband of 57 years, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of St. Adlbert's Catholic Church and a lifetime member of Pine Valley Sportsman Club. He was a retired coal miner from United Miners Local 1376 and Labors Union 809. He was known by many and loved by all.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Frank's life at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, OH on Friday, April 25 from 2-8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 26 at noon at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale with Rev. Thomas Chillog as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
