WEIRTON - The Madonna baseball team rallied to top Toronto, 4-1, on Wednesday.
Luca Fuscardo started on the mound for the Blue Dons. The Kent State recruit struck out six and walked one. At the plate, Fuscardo singled and scored three runs.
Michael Rogers and Dom Silvestri each tallied a pair of hits for Madonna.

Nick Mazur relieved Fuscardo in the sixth and struck out four.
For Toronto, Blaze Glenn took the loss after striking out six and walking five. The sophomore also singled in a run.
Hank Clegg took over pitching duties in the seventh and earned one strikeout. Chez Glenn had two singles for the Red Knights.

Hildreth throws gem against OG
WASHINGTON, Pa. - Heath Hildreth struck out five and walked one, while allowing just two hits in Brooke's 4-0 win over Oak Glen at CONSOL Energy Park in Washington, Pa. on Wednesday.
Hildreth only issued a pair of singles - in the fourth and fifth inning - to Alex Schuman and Alec Swiger, respectively.
Chad Harper had two singles and a pair of triples at the plate for the Bruins (16-7). Nick Ossman drove in two runs and had a double with two singles.
Mario Lombardi added two singles and two RBIs.
Brooke hosts Weir on Friday for senior night at 5:30 p.m.
Oak Glen is now 11-10 and plays at Wellsville today.

Woodward helps Edison
RICHMOND - Clay Woodward struck out six and walked two in the Wildcats' 6-5 win over Carrollton on Wednesday. Woodward also singled, doubled and drove in three runs at the plate.
Matt Johnson relieved on the mound in the sixth inning and walked one.
Josh Pasek and Bryce Piatt each hit two singles, while Pasek had an RBI.
Nolan Marcus and Tanner Evans each singled in a run, while Dylan Jones added a hit.
Edison is now 16-3 and hosts Barnesville today.
