June 2, 2014
Weirton Daily Times

Edison High School graduate Meghan Scott, flanked by her parents Robert and Amy Scott, will continue her academic and athletic careers at Muskingum University, where she will be a member of the soccer team. Scott was one of eight seniors who led the Wildcats to a 9-6-1 record last fall and three winning seasons in four years. Scott was a black honor cord graduate and earned the President's Education Award Outstanding Academic Achievement. She was a Class 5A all-OVAC honorable mention selection. Scott will join a soccer program that was 8-9-2 a year ago. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, former assistant coach Chris Dopp and Edison Principal Matt Morrison.
