WEIRTON - The second class of the Weirton Madonna Hall of Fame is set to be inducted later this month.
The induction dinner will be held Aug. 23, at Williams Country Club with doors opening at 6 p.m. and dinner served at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per person, with reservations made by contacting the high school at (304) 723-0545 no later than Aug. 15. Seating will be limited.

The Madonna High School Hall of Fame serves to recognize outstanding alumni and school supporters for their achievements and contributions to Madonna High School.
Table sponsorship also are available.
Nominations to the Weirton Madonna Hall of Fame can be made in one of eight categories: female athlete, male athlete, female coach, male coach, philanthropy, stewardship, school service and public service.
To be considered for the athletic categories, a nominee must be affiliated with Madonna and exhibit sportsmanship, integrity, respect and commitment.
To be considered for the humanitarian categories, a nominee must be affiliated with Madonna and exhibit charity, compassion, generosity and altruism.
Each individual category also has requirements for acceptance.
