HAUGHT, David W. Sr. of Wellsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 1, 2014, at his home.
After fighting the battle of cancer.
He was born June 2, 1929, in Mannington, WV. to the late David and Helen Sturgeon Haught. He was a retired pipefitter of 38 years with Weirton Steel. He was a Sgt. In the US Army in the Korean Conflict and a Christian.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded by his first wife, Shirley Imogene Santee Haught and his second wife, Genevieve Pitts Haught his precious daughter, Linda Sue Haught, five brothers, five sisters, six sister-in-laws, seven brother-in-laws, and several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by two sons, David Haught (Jeanie) of Wooster, OH., and Joseph Haught (Lisa) of Wellsburg, two daughters, Bonnie Young (Mike) of Point Pleasant, WV, and Crystal Rogerson (Tom) of Moundsville, WV. and one brother, Ernest Haught (Ellen) of Fairview, WV. and four sister-in-laws, Mary Haught of New Castle, PA., Iolene Santee of Fairview WV. Barbara Santee of Grantstown, WV., and Judith Pitts of CA. Nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who love him dearly.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg and again on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, from Noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV.
Interment will be at Mannington Memorial Park in Mannington, WV. with full Military Graveside Rites.
