Students and staff at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School surprised junior class cosmetology instructor Diane Dalesio on her final day of teaching. Dalesio, who was a student in the cosmetology program at JVS, returned to teach for 27 years. She decided to retire at the end of September, saying goodbye to a school she was a part of for three decades. Dalesio received balloons, decorations, flowers and a cake, as well as a surprise visit from recent graduates wanting to wish her well.
